I was in 7th grade and living at St. Pauls boarding shcool in Garden City , Long Island. It looked like a castle. Inside was all old creaky wood. tall ceilings and hundreds of boys of all ages all wearing blazers with the school emblem a black and red school tie and names like Harry Powell the third. One kid was related to Papa Doc from Hati. Any way there was a poetry recital and I picked "The Raven" by Edgar Allen Poe. Unfortunately for me as hard as I tried, I couldn't remember the whole Poem. My solution.... hide under my bed. In retrospect I should've hid under someone else's bed.
