Wednesday, back in the early 70's at the School of Visual Arts in NYC, was "Movie Night".They showed student and art films, it was free and the public was invited. In the small amphitheater, there were steps to sit on before the movie seats. Bette Midler and Carol Kane were watching the film in the seats. Bette and Carol were new rising stars at the time. I wanted to sit near them. Bad idea, Arthur! I inched my way up the steps a little at a time so as not to be noticed. In a loud voice Bette say's "Get a loud of this guy!"
